Here is the basic way of my estimation over the photos. If your budget doesn't meet my estimation. Let't talk about how to fix and finish. I will find the solution to reduce.
Prices
Estimates provided on receipt of your photographs of the damaged piece.
Rough price guideline:
From £40 per 1cm chip, £40 (10 cm break line) x number of pieces of breaks, using epoxy and traditional mixed repair technique with brass finish. If your desert plate became into 2 pieces with 10cm break line and one chip, will be £90 in brass finish.
£40 for every 10cm line of gold will be added to the repair cost. Minimum charge for gold repair is £100. Please note, break lines often have top and back side, means length of the line often doubles when I estimate.
P&P:
from £15 with £500 insurance.
Repair time
Approximately 8 weeks with epoxy mixture with traditional. Traditional repair will take 3 months. Additional charge will be added.
If your ceramic is either antique for food, or otherwise of particular value to you, silver or gold finish is recommended. I also provide artistic repair and coarse silver/gold repair. Please ask for details.
